Abstract | Research around Future Internet technologies such as Internet of Thing (IoT), Network Function Virtualization (NFV), Software Defined Networking (SDN) is constantly growing and related tools are required to test novel concepts. In this paper, we introduce our view on building a Future Internet (FI) testbeds based on existing open source solutions. Specifically, a FI testbeds at Technical University Berlin and Fraunhofer FOKUS is described. As illustration, a typical IoT distributed application has been developed and operated that was and being used in several FI research projects. |
