Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT)

Due to the current COVID-19 situation the lecture "Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT)" will NOT be available in 2020!

Dr. Alexander Willner

The lecture "Industrial Internet of Things" (SS) treats fundamental concepts, architectures, protocols and interfaces of current and future Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) platforms, based on the converging operational technologies (OT) and information and communication technologies (ICT).

Graduates of this lecture are endued with competences in architectures, protocols, and technologies for connectivity, communication, (semantic) data exchange and (fog-based) virtualization used within Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) use cases. They will further be able to identify and systematically solve prospective challenges of future IIoT developments and applications.
