Graduated:
2009, Technical University Berlin, Dipl.-Ing. (Business and
Engineering)
Education:
Christian studied Business Administration and Engineering at
the Technical University of Berlin and the Macquarie University
Sydney. At the TU Berlin he wrote his Studienarbeit about Ambient
Intelligence in public services with regards to usage areas eHealth
and eLearning. His diploma thesis at the Fraunhofer Institute FOKUS is
about hash-based packet selection – a network measurement technique
to synchronize random packet selection at multiple measurement
points.
Expertise Key Words: Network
Measurements, Data Mining, Security in BGP and Ad-Hoc Mesh Networks,
Future Internet Architectures and Experimental Facilities, Data
Anonymisation, Next Generation Networks, Service Delivery Platforms,
Evolved Packet Core, IPv6, Multipath
Lectures/Courses: Future Internet
Technologies [2], Hot Topics in NGN&FIT, NGNs & FIT Project
[3]
Current Research Projects:
G-Lab DEEP (BMBF), OneLab, Multinext, (EU),
Expertise: Since 2006 Christian has been working at
Fraunhofer FOKUS in the Network Research group and developed strong
expertise in passive network measurement, data mining and data
anonymisation techniques. Within the FP7 European Projects
DAIDALOS II and Onelab2 [4] he
focused on network path measurements and lead the Packet Tracking [5]
Software development,
For the European project PRISM he dealt
with the privacy and security challenges that arise through the
release of network measurement traces and how these can be solved.
Christian has been signed to the AV chair in 2009 where he is
leading the TU activities in the G-Lab DEEP [6]
project which is a four partner project funded by the German Ministry
for Education and Research (BMBF). He investigates architectures for
the Future Internet based on cross layer and functional compositioning
approaches. Within the projects technologies like Next Generation
Network Service Enablers, Network Virtualisation, Service Delivery
Platforms, Evolved Packet Core are used to compose a Future Internet
Infrastructure.
