Professional

He is associate professor at Universidade Estadual do Ceara - Computer Science Department (since 2004). Fortaleza/Ceara/Brazil

Currently he is a Postdoctoral Researcher at TU-Berlin and Fraunhofer FOKUS. Berlin/Germany


Research

His researches focusing on telecommunications networks, on the following subjects: computer networks, Internet protocols, network management, wireless networks, mobile networks, computer architecture.

In 2009 he participate on the FuturaRNP project aimed to build a testbed of a future Internet network at Brazilian academic network (RNP). This project aims to study and domain the technology of control and management plane of a Future Internet network to build the new Brazilian academic network backbone.

During the post-doctoral he intends to work with management platform Teagle, which provides a federated management infrastructure for the Panlab European testbed.
